Voxrill Support

Live transcription and translation for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later.

Get started

1. Complete the setup guide and choose microphone or system audio.
2. Download a supported speech model in Settings → Transcription. Enable translation and download a translation model if needed.
3. Allow the macOS permissions requested for your source, then start capture. Use the HUD button for floating original-language captions.

Permissions and audio

Check System Settings → Privacy & Security for Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording permissions. Restart the app after changing a permission. Version 1 captures one selected source at a time.

Models and providers

Local processing works offline after downloading models. Performance and language support depend on the model and Mac. Optional cloud and AI providers require your own credentials and may incur provider charges. Voxrill does not include a cloud service subscription.

Purchases and restoration

The public version offers a 14-day trial and a one-time unlock for Voxrill 1.x. Use the same Apple Account in the Mac App Store, then open Settings → Purchase → Restore Purchases. Restoration requires internet access. For refunds, visit Apple’s refund portal. TestFlight transactions are sandbox purchases and do not charge real money.

Report a problem

Use the support issue tracker. Include app and macOS versions, Mac model, selected model/provider, and steps to reproduce.

Issues are public. Never post API keys, private recordings, confidential transcripts, payment details, or personal information. Redact logs and screenshots before posting.
